Out on the bike

It’s been a good while since I had an opportunity to get out on two wheels but yesterday the planets aligned and I had a whole morning to do as I please. There’s plenty of things I should’ve probably done instead - I’m looking at you unpainted coving and ungrouted kitchen tiles - but riding to work recently reminded me how much I missed the old bike and with the sun doing its thing (factor 50 went straight on) I headed out on a standard bimble. I had planned a route to take me to a place that looked vaguely interesting but as it happens my legs have about 20% of the capacity they used to and even then I was hardly setting any records for endurance. Still, I hit lots of roads and off-roady bits I haven’t been on before which always seems quite a surprise since I figure i’ve ridden most of Norfolk by now.
